The George 7’s is the 2nd Tournament in the yearly circuit of the IRB 7’s Competition. Last week the All Blacks won the 1st Tournament at Dubai.

The web site RUGBYHEAVEN reports as follows: WALLABIES and Reds star Quade Cooper will tell authorities he can’t remember parts of the night he was arrested and charged with allegedly burgling a residence at Surfers Paradise. Cooper went to ground yesterday as the Australian and Queensland rugby unions began their own investigations into the bizarre incident, which occurred shortly before 4am on Sunday.

South Africa took on England in the 4th ODI in the series at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth. England won comfortably after the SA batsmen collapsed without much of a fight, batting first and only scoring 119 runs, all out. England reached the target with 7 wickets standing, just more than 18 overs left, ending at 121 / 3. England now lead the series 2 to 1 with just one ODI game left.
