Great try Scotland…
@ Nama:
Nama, the game is now only a batsman’s game…..short boundaries, 2 new balls, power plays.
Who would want to be a bowler in today’s game?
300 seems to be par lately
@ IAAS:
I also went for Stormers because I nominated yesterday’s game and the one against the Cheetahs as our possible “away wins” in the derbies. With the Cheetahs’ unexpected win against the Sardines yesterday, I may have to change my thinking.
I mean, we have been beating the KZN based sides (CC and SR) fairly regularly in Durbs the last couple of years, not so?
333 @ Nama:
Play nice with the Sharks….they were severely disadvantaged with Bissie and Beast getting injured…..and Jannie not
@ nortie:
That’s true.
One would still expect a bowling unit consisting of Steyn, Philander, Morkel and Tahir to bowl out the minnow sides for under 200. The fact that Zim got close to 300 is worrying for me.
333 @ nortie:
Hahaha…
You remember how Chadwick and Cooper were written up as Bok contenders by HG and the like?

Jeeezus how bad was the refs scrum time officiating. He knew absolutely fokkkall about the scrum. cheetahs were able to basically flop down into each scrum. Bend over… Collapse… Absolutely ridiculous. Nevertheless Sharks should have been good enough to win.. Despite playing awfully they nearly did… Definitely enough chances but couldn’t finish them off. Ag not too worried. Not many refs will be this bad at scrum time and not.too many teams will play as filthy… Also.Sharks will take their chances after this.kick in the pants…

Of course! And Jannie can bind on the arm, and its the Cheetahs fault? Grow a pair man, the Sharks scrum just didn’t pitch!! Cheetahs scrum was an unknown entity, but indications in pre season games was that they weren’t going to be pushovers.
