Some GOOD stuff by the Blitzbokke in Day 1!
Difficult to do the SuperBru Picks for Day 2 because although the first lot of fixtures for Day 2 is known, the rest of the picks are blind… so will have to decide whether I will just pick blind or get up freegin in the middle of the night to do the rest of the picks…
Alright, so south africa to win it.
Go Bokke!
Australia were terrible against Fiji.
And we should take either of Argentina or Samoa.
“lowly” Argentina does Australia again …
Terrible start by Blitzbokke !! 0 – 14 down after 4 minutes
Finally a score: half time 5 – 14
Senatla shows some real gas !! 12 – 14
Some poor play by Blizbokke costing us the game and tournament !
12 – 21 down. Samoa and Fiji in finals
Another score against us: 12 – 28 final score.
@ charlesm:
The Blitzbokke got blitzed in the first 2 minutes – it’s difficult to come back from 14-nil down. Branco du Preez was strapped up after the final game yesterday – I’m surprised he started. I would’ve gone with Steven Hunt starting. Anyway, it’s done and dusted.
@ IAAS:
Yes IAAS we never really recovered from that start. IMO we could still have won it when we were down by 2 points and on attack. A few turnovers cost us…..but that’s the nature of the game.
Fiji really looked in fantastic form and should take it in the finals – IMO of course
Poor Samoa, this is just unfair, 26 – 0 Haltime
Samoa eakes out a try JUST before halftime
Fiji 26 – 7
Bloody hell Samoa started the 2nd half like men possessed
26 – 17
YES, 26-24 about 3min to go
1 min left samoa have a scrum on halfway
Fiji scores, game set and match
QdK to score a 200 today?
Hells Bells… how about this for handbags in a final
Ag moer
19+20…It is unbelievable, the guy got sent off after the first two minutes of a grand final for punching someone.
Brilliant ball by harmer to get QdK, slow pitch, so 280-300 might still be a good score while it was looking like 300 might not be enough.
