Eastern Province Kings captain Luke Watson has been ruled out of action for at least four weeks with concussion.
Watson, who has played little rugby in the last year due to injuries, suffered a head knock in the 25th minute of the Kings’ 30-25 loss to the Blue Bulls in Pretoria last Saturday.
Having recovered from a foot injury to lead the EP Kings in their opening Currie Cup match against WP, Watson also missed their second outing against the Golden Lions with flu.

The only other concerns are flyhalf Gary van Aswegen and centre Tim Whitehead, both of whom are being monitored after sustaining knocks to their knees during the Blue Bulls game.
The winless EP Kings host the Xerox Golden Lions in Port Elizabeth this Saturday (19:10 SA Time kick-off).
It was always only a matter of time before Gary became injured.
Jeeez Watson, you are on the sidelines waaaaaay more than you play…
Surely he MUST have a ratio that he misses at least 3 from every 4 games if taken over the duration of his stay at EP since returning from the UK.
If EVER there was a sick-note, this oke is it!!
