Who agrees with this report card, or are they too lenient?

hey norts… are they too lenient you ask…?

    they’re waaay too lenient nortie…

we should give them a public naartjie parade in an open bus so we can all pelt them will lekker vrot fruit and get our revenge on them for embarrassing us with such an inept performance…

we should get thuli madonsela to investigate their performance and hire gerrie nel to prosecute them…

i reckon the players will be found guilty of gross unreasonable treason and should not be allowed back into south africa… we should revoke their citizenship… send them to devil’s island to live out their natural lives… unless they can grow their collective coconuts and make a team raft to escape…

i’m not sure that would satisfy springbok fans though… 🙄

    yip… waaay too lenient…

    @ ufo:
The only real positive with the Boks are that they are the team with the most character, seems like every time they scrape past a serious threat to world rugby, like these mighty Argies, they build character.
I’m sure Argentina will be jumping from 12 to 11 in the world if only they can maybe win a game….I’m sure they will manage that against the Kiwis and Aussies 😀

    Gents

Back in the scene after a few days of “emergency” treatment in hospital.

Managed to catch some of the Rugby, albeit that some of it was in a semi-comatose state that I had to watch again.

How hungry were the Kiwi’s and how complacent, were the South Africans?

HM really needs to look at his action plan fo next year before it’s too late.

Bismark proved that he get’s too emotional when bested and then everything goes out of the window.

I cannot understand for the life of me why SA cannot produce a tight head prop. FFS our scrum was utterly gobshyte, and the line out just shyte.

Once again the inability to change and adapt within a game nearly cost SA dearly.

Francois Louw was the only player in the starting 15 that stood out for me, and after coming on Adriaan Straus and Marcel Coetzee seemed to make an impact.

For the rest, maybe HM should just throw the video tapes away, forget about trying to analyze what went wrong and condemn the last two games to the dark and smelly confines of forgotten history.

One also has to REALLY question the level of play that guys in France are experiencing and whether it is high enough to compare to players playing Super Rugby and good enough (generally) for competitions like the RC.

That Juan Smith had a “good” season in France is undisputed. What is in question is what defines a “good” season?

Clearly he was MIA on Saturday.

Poor forwards, inept midfield, and everyone as happy as a “bly gemaakte troep” with the win.

I can see the Wallabies quaking in their boots (not).

    @ Scrumdown:
Morning SD, hope your recovering well.

I agree with most of your post, but many of the Argies also play in France and they did not lack the same urgency.

on Beeld Duane got 5 and at keo he got 8… These ranking system is about as reliable as that of the IRB 😉

Hi MB. The only thing reliable about the IRB is that when in Dublin they bend over that the Rugby sun will shine out of their collective @rseholes.

RE the Argies and France, who knows what type of mental conditioning the UAR used to get their players prepared.

Our guys seemed menatlly tired and seemed to battle to get going from the outset.

One thing I think we can now be assured of though, is that all and sundry are going to target our scrum.

Once the du Plessis family have their heads inserted up their own rectum’s thir games seem to go south alarmingly quickly.

Mr de Villiers needs to do some remedial work methinks.
