Flip van der MerweBullsVodacom Bulls captain Flip van der Merwe has been declared fit following a hamstring injury and will travel with team on their Australasian tour.

Van der Merwe missed the matches against the Sharks and Chiefs, but will be considered for the Vodacom Bulls team to play the Hurricanes in Wellington on Saturday, their first match on their month-long tour.

The Bulls depart for New Zealand on Tuesday and will have a last training session at Loftus Versfeld before departure.

Mornè Mellett (ankle sprain), Bjorn Basson (Contusion quad), Callie Visagie (Contusion AC joint shoulder) and Waylon Murray (knee) will train tomorrow.

Louis Fouchè will undergo an ultrasound scan for a niggling knee strain.

Pierre Spies (bicep), Arno Botha (knee) and Frik Kirsten (neck) remains on the long term rehab list.
