Sorry folks corrected the mistake from earlier, this game is tomorrow.
1 @ Bullscot:
Hahahaha
Doffie!
2 @ grootblousmile:
Ja lekker dof this side Gbs what’s more concerning though is that no one picked up on it
England batting first, Pietersen just out for 6. England 26/2 in the 6th over. Pietersen was involved in the run out of Carberry who was first wicket to fall when England had 5.
England 31/2 after 7 overs. Johnson causing lots of problems with his pace…and Johnson has Trott LBW but Trott is reviewing the decision…
Commentators think umpire call will stand, ahh but then they see the ball pitched just outside leg stump.
Phew Trott not out as the decision is reversed and he clips the next ball away for 2 runs.
Super yorker by Johnson to end the over, just dug out by the batsman. England 33/2 after 8 overs.
Australia appeal for LBW but its given not out and Australia appealing, sound like ther may have been a bit of bat on it but maybe not, height may save him.
Not out, lucky man as there was not bat before pads and it sounds like the ball may have just clipped the top of the bails but TV umpire rules it not out.
England 43/2 off 10 overs, Trott 24, Root 5 at the crease
Lovely 4 by Joe Root – England 47/2
England 51/2 after 12 overs.
They should lose time for rain, hopefully not too much for it to be a no result game.
Another wicket Root caught and bowled Voges 12. Eng 52/3 midway through the 14th over.
Morgan BOWLED, but Morgan had stepped away before the ball was bowled so not out.
Drinks break, I guess they have to stick to the regulations but with rain threatening to reduce the game it seems senseless, especially as its quite a cool day too. Eng 58/3 off 15 overs.
Players leaving the field as its raining
Still raining. Former England bowler Mathew Hoggard is retiring from cricket. He rates his performance against South Africa in Johannesburg in 2005 as his favourite performance – he took 12 wickets in the game, England went on to win that series 2-1.
Hello JFK see you logged in, how it going man? Pity its raining at the cricket.
@ Bullscot:Yup, a great shame – they should have followed your lead, and played yesterday!!!!
21 @ Just For Kicks:
Argh no did you spot that deliberate slip too, what was I thinking
Michael Vaughan on Mathew Hoggard : “I used to always say to Hoggard at the end of his run that Harmison and Flintoff were the chief executives but he was on the shop floor and needed to bowl dots. He was the grumpiest player I’d ever played with, but the most rewarding.”
Match abandoned due to the rain. Next stop Cardiff on Saturday.
