It will be a bottom-of-the-table clash when Sale Sharks take on London Irish to kick off the Premiership action on Friday.
rugby365
Sale have not managed to win a game yet this season and have been disrupted further by uncertainty over the coaching staff, so they will be desperate to put together a good performance in front of their home crowd.
On Saturday Leicester Tigers entertain rivals Northampton Saints on Welford Road in what should be another hard-fought encounter whilst the pick of the action on Sunday sees Saracens take on London Wasps.
All the match details for Round Eight.

Richie Gray had to pull out just prior to the Sale game because of his ankle injury, now they not sure he will be ready for next week’s test against All Blacks. Some concern still over flyhalf Laidlaw and wing Visser as well.
Sale beat London Irish – 21/9 their first win in this year’s Premiership
Northampton leading Leicester at the moment: 3-0 – game kicked off about 13 min ago.
Leicester Tigers 13 – 6 Northampton Saints 42mins – try by Matt Smith converted by George Ford (halftime 6-6)
Exeter 19 – 0 Worcester – 25th minute
Leicester 13 – 9 Northampton 48 minutes
Leicester 16 – 9 Northampton 54 minutes
Exeter 19 – 3 Worcester half time
Leicester 16 – 9 Northampton – two missed penalties by Ford for Leicester one in 65th and other in 67th minute
Leicester 16 – 12 Northampton 77 minutes gone, getting close but yellow card in 77th minute for Ryan Lamb of Northampton just 3 minutes after he kicked a penalty over.
Final Score: Leicester Tigers 16 – 12 Northampton Saints. Leicester scorers – 1 try for Matt Smith, 1 conversion and 3 penalties for young George Ford. Northampton scorers – 4 penalties for Ryan Lamb.
More Saturday scores : Exeter 33 (19) – 9 (3) Worcester – only 3 tries though for Exeter so no bonus point for them, Harlequins 28 (22) – 25 (12) Gloucester – losing bonus point for Gloucester. Both of these games went against my expectations.
Former Natal Sharks lock Alistair Hargreaves scored a try yesterday for Saracens to help them beat Wasps, final score:
Saracens 29 – 24 Wasps
Last result from this round : London Welsh 16 – 9 Bath – while the Saracens result was expected this one was a bit of a surprise as Gary Gold’s Bath have been playing quite well recently.
