Former Western Province Springbok scrumhalf Bolla Conradie (31), will turn out for the Boland Kavaliers in the Absa Currie Cup’s First Division next season.
Conradie will fill the huge gap left by Marnus Hugo when he joined the Griquas a few weeks ago.
Last season at Western Province, he was behind both Ricky January and Dewaldt Duvenage for a starting berth, so with regular game time, Conradie could soon be back to his best.
Conradie has won 63 super rugby caps and is the most capped Stormers player. He has also played 18 tests for the Springboks.
The Kavaliers, who will be coached by former Lions mentor Loffie Eloff next season, also signed Emerging Springbok lock Nikolai Blignaut from the Sharks and crack Pumas centre Tyron Hysse.
Boland’s first friendly match early next year is against the Stormers in Cape Town’s new soccer stadium.
How the hell can he have the most S14 starts for the Stormers in a season, but is the third choice Jan for WP at CC level?
Smells like rotting pork to me.

Sorry. Bolla is the most capped Stormers player ever, not just in one season.
In the words of an age old Sea Shanty “Jo Ho Ho and a bottle of Rum”.
I think it’s time to start celebrating the demise of 2009, and the subsequent rise to world dominance of the Jamaican national Rugby side, by consuming copious amounts of (former) Govenor Henry James Morgan’s (Captain to his best mates) dark nectar tonight.
Anyone who would like to join me please make sure you bring your own ice if you use it, because I don’t believe in drinking for pleasure, only effect!
Sh1t, it’s dead here today.
3 – Scrumdown. 😆
Goos signing for Booooooooooooooooooooland.
