Well you could have fooled me! It looked far more empty than any of the Tank games. WE have taken flack for that. The Tank has NEVER looked that empty boeta. Both our stadiums hold about the same. So hardly think it was 28 000 at Loftus. Never looked like it to me. More like 15 000 or a slight more. Then you have the numbers, so just saying how it looked.

You’re right, the Bulls should have won by much more…. their 2nd half was not so good… and the subs, all at the same time compounded it.

But hey, how did it feel to go 40 / Zip down negative fella… how does it feel when your team and players are ridiculed (a la Spies and Morné Steyn by you guys the whole time)?

Tell me…. is your shitty attitude now merited?

Your team was klapped again by the Bulls… even though the Bulls did not fire on all cylinders in the 2nd Half.

Wake up and smell the roses…. and farking quickly too!

    211 @ Puma:
Main stand side was quite packed…. most cameras this side focussing on a MUCH emptier Eastern Stand.

The figures I gave were the official figures supplied by the Bulls… according to electronic gate count, from all turnstiles and entry gates.

    @ Puma,
Still don’t know what to make of this match, Cheetahs didn’t take any kickable penalties in the 1st half, and were playing as if it was a training pitch, then after 40 – 0 down at half time, they score 4 tries?

Really strange, and I smell some skullduggery going on behind the scenes!
To your question, Heynecke will be dumber than dumb to not play Brussow against the AB’s and Wobblies, but nothing has suggested that he will budge from his kick and bash game plan. Wirks for the Bulks, but we will get creamed without Brussow. We saw the difference when the Aussies took him out in the WC.
Jacques Potgieter might be a hit with the Bulls faithful, but then they will always pick a guy that can bash rather than pass, or pilfer!

  • 215

Where was Brussouw at 40 zip?

  • 216

    214 @ Cheetah4eva:
I prefer a true fetcher, and would also pick Brussow without a doubt….

Jacques Potgieter, whilst talented, has some way to go before he becomes a complete player. He has the energy and size, but is often like a “Afkop-hoender”…

Anyway, those 2 don’t compete for the same spot on the park, Brussow is an opensider (a classic one) and Jacques Potgieter is a blindsider.

    @ GBS,
Maybe negative in your eyes, but the Bulks could have been a much better side, without kicking ad nauseam. A question, will the Bulks still kick the advertising off the ball, when they have gems like Serfontein, Swanepoel, Small-Smith, and Venter in the backline? It’s a travesty I tell you.

What do you make of the Cheetahs in the 1st half? Something smells foul, and try be objective?

  • 218

    @ grootblousmile:
What that is half of Pretoria?

  • 220

    212@ grootblousmile:
Ag pipe down boeta. The Cheetahs have shown some guts, more so than more teams that don’t have the players than the top 3 in our country. Let us see how the Bulls go against Sharks next week okay! For now just stay humble. Next week strength against strength. Let us see.

    218 @ Pietman:
    Tjorts Pieta!

    217 @ Cheetah4eva:
    Jy ruik jou bolip!

  • 222

Lions + Kings = Lion King

  • 223

@ Spoony, try and watch the game and the contribution that Brussow makes. Even with the Cheetahs conspiring against themselves, Brussow still made his tackles, carried the ball well, and was not missing at all?

Besides, compare his performances in tandem with players like Juan, and Burger. A balanced trio, brings the best out of him!

  • 224

    220 @ Puma:
Next week will indeed be huge…. till next week it is!

  • 225

    218@ Pietman:

    Cheers Pieta.

  • 226

    @ Puma:
Yeah their top players is all down there in Durban haha

  • 227

Cheers fellas…. from Fortress Loftus, waar dit rof is…. have to get ready for the pressers.

  • 228

    Ha ha funny man GBS,
Nothing like cutting edge humour to close out the night.
Goid victory Bulls, but as Puma said, lets see how they fare against an equally bok laden Sharks team, after folding like a house of cards against the Stormers last month
    Night all

  • 229

    224@ grootblousmile:

For sure. That is where we judge ourselves. Until next week. For now think the Cheetahs done okay boet. They never lay down dead; like that about the Cheetahs. Always enjoy watching them play. They truely don’t have the players we have, well that is for now. They do exceptionally well with the player pool they have. They always have my support, unless playing against my Sharks of course.. 😉

  • 230

    226@ Spooony:
    Bwaaaahaaaaa. You spot on!!! hehehe.

  • 231

    @ Cheetah4eva:
True. He tried to do too much on his own and got robbed of possession.
Steyn had a perfect record with the boot today. What a suprise

  • 232

Who-s-the-man OK guys it was fun. Speel mooi – I’m outa here.

  • 233

    228@ Cheetah4eva:
    Good night buddy.

  • 234

  • 235

    @ Puma:
True lol. Its the one province in the whole country everyone likes.

  • 236

    235@ Spooony:
True, Cheetahs are everyones 2nd team. My 2nd team has always been Lions. From next year it will be the Cheetahs like everyone else.. hehe. Cheetahs are a very good team to watch, they play some exciting rugby.

Okay that is me out of here now.

    Cheers everyone.

haha That old Freestate station with its “staal draad” keeping you from plunging to your death. School use to love going there on trips as its cheap for a ticket down there. Those days you went in with your klippies and security removed those coming in with non alcoholic drinks. You get different stage of drunkenness but in the Freestate there is a extra stage its called tackle FC Smit but naked.
