Kickers, I just sneaked in my pick for the main match, Stormpoppies by 1!
Strauss out played Alberst tonight
Sharks NEED the for try bonus and the other one
Gosh not been around much this afternoon to follow this but this sure looks like a shock result, what one earth went wrong for the Sharks, were they bad or did the Lions just put in their seasons best performance or was it bad reffing? This helps Stormers and Bulls in a big way, now just a question of who is going the make the most of the points dropped by the Sharks…
Siren goes
Lions take a classic. Well done Lions. Sharks hell, man, you let that one slip. Hopeless.
Wow…. good result for the Bulls and Stormers, bad for SA and my Bru!
Lions 38/28 Sharks. Final score
Just shows you cant take anything for granted in Super rugby. Lions deserved the win. Nou vir die Blou…uh Bulle.
210@ Puma:
meant – relegated.
Sorry the wine is speaking tonight…lol.
Sharks get 0 points! Flok, the Guppies were completely naive and clueless.
220 @ Puma:
Comisserations Oompie!
211@ The_Young_Turk:Yeee haaaaa. My blood brother is BACK. Welcome home, buddy!!!!!
Okay from here on. The Saffa heart in me beats. May the best team to win this end best in the next game.
Good luck to Stormers and Bulls. None will have to worry about the Sharks. Well that is if they spoil their parade. Like Lions did my team.
@ Puma:
Sorry for your loss mate….really feel for you…..oh, and how such a loss can fcuk up a man’s weekend….I know.
217@ grootblousmile:I would think everyone went Guppies, so won’t affect Bru
Wonder how HM feels about this result. I know you don’t judge players based on one match and he has already made up his mind but some food for thought there.
Skuif oor na die pienk draad.
@ Puma:
Good on you mate. You are taking this gut wrenching loss in the right spirit. Many can learn from you. Hats off and commiserations.
225@ Puma:
Nothing made sense up there. (Wine speaking for sure……hahaha)
Meant – May the best team win in the next game.
Hope it is a team that will go all the way. Go Bulls and Stormers. Just no injuries. Sharks game plan was woeful from what I saw after the 2nd half. We should have played Stormers rugby. Why try and run it from everywhere against the Lions? Just so stupid really. Anyhow our season is done and gone it seems. So we get behind our our brothers. Really hope one of the Bulls or Stormers can go all the way.
@ Puma:Sorry about the loss, bud, but those Guppies were far too cocky coming into that match, I feel. Thought they had it in the bag. In reality, apart from 5 minutes at the start of the second half, they were never really in it. Just goes to prove – Never underestimate your enemy, no matter how weak they may be.
See y’all on the the pink side

Thanks everyone, but I had a kinda feeling this could of happened. Anyhow if we not good enough to beat the Lions (respect to them) then really we not good enough to travel and play the play offs. Sharks are such a great side why play attacking rugby against the Lions??????? Very, very stupid. We should have gone for the win first, if we played tight, tight like the Stormers and got the win first then fine. Bonus point is just that. It comes after you secured the win. Anyhow it is gone and dusted. At least we probably will not have a monster travel waiting us from here on.
Going to watch the biggie now. Good luck to both teams. Whoever can fly the saffa flag high I hope it is that team that win. Go South African Rugby. Jeez hope one of us can win this thing and not the kiwis.

meant – happen
