In the second of their three fixtures the Barbarians take on an Ireland XV tonight at Gloucester’s Chisholm ground. The match is due to kick off at 20.45 SA time.
There have been numerous changes to the Barbarians team, with only South African starting being Francois Louw. They are up against a weakened Ireland team, with many of the Irish players having played for Leinster in the RaboDirect Pro12 final on Sunday. Ireland will also be resting some of their other stars for the upcoming southern hemisphere tour.

Jermoe Garces penalises Loughney for dropping the scrum and BaaBaas go for touch.
Note I mentioned Francois Louw as the only South African because lock Cornelius v Zyl plays for Italy and as such in the lineup is listed as ‘Italian’
Great run from Baabaas with a nice switch pass from Contepomi but ball goes forward and possession to Ireland in our own 22
Free kick to baabaas from Irish scrum for pushing ahead of the ball. Baabaas opt for scrum
Barbarians 19 (3 tries, 1 converted) – 14(2 converted tries) Ireland XV
Halftime : Barbarians 19 – 14 Ireland XV

Doing great thanks, hi BB.
The Stormers clash with the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld in on Saturday in a traditional South African derby, but has the game already begun?
Stormers forwards coach Matt Proudfoot is a firm believer that the build up to a big match is as important as the 80 minutes on the field, and has urged his players to be mentally prepared.
“I think derby games are won on a Monday morning and you want the guys to get out of bed and think ‘wow I’m excited about this weekend’s game’ and to bring that energy to training,”
