Giant forward Alafoti Faosiliva caps a tour de force performance by crashing over for the winning try at the death to give the Samoans a 26-19 win in the Cup Final over Series leaders New Zealand.
I watched a bit of the SA/NZ match last night (during commercials!!!) and the rugby from the SA side was absolutely pathetic. NZ were running riot. I saw, I think 2 or 3 SA penalties, and we had no idea what to do with the ball. At one stage it was either Boom or Hunt (Icant remember) was given the ball, and just stood behind the ruck with no idea what to do, eventually tried to jump over it, only to be nailed by 2 NZers, who had no problem relieving him of the ball as there was absolutely no SA support at all. Wow, they blow hot and cold these boys!
@ Just For Kicks:
at times it is embarrassing to watch the blitzbokke. Samoa and Kenya was the best teams for me.
