Rumours are flying that the “Meyer of Pretoria”, Heyneke Meyer, is in advanced negotiations with the Bulls to be back at the Bulls in the next few days, possibly next week already.
According to these rumours, the Bulls Union want Meyer back, in an advanced position, to further develop the structures at the Bulls and to take the Bulls coaches under his wing and hone their skills further.
It shows that the Bulls, who already boast the best structures, want to ensure that their structures stay the best!
Meyer was the Bulls Union’s head coach from 2000 till 2007 before going overseas to coach Leicester (who have just beaten an undercooked Bokke midweek team). Heyneke Meyer returned to SA earlier this year due to personal reasons, which included the health of his wife and parents-In Law.
This is how you do it Lions, WP, Cheetahs and Sharks…. take some lessons!

Good that HM is going back to the Bulls. Good to have him back in SA and back in our rugby here.
