You know what… tomorrow morning at sparrow fart Handbriekie and myself are departing for Nelspruit, where we are reserved to be booked in at the big Casino Hotel there for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

It is the weekend of the Innie-Bos Festival… and we have booked places to see a Frank Oppermann show on Saturday… and Friday night and Saturday night will be spent boogy-ing at the various music shows on offer…

    So, I’m missing the 2 semi’s… totally!

    @ grootblousmile:
Hi Gbs have a safe trip to the lowveld, sure you’re in for a good time, we’ve no real interest in this weekends rugby anyway 🙂 Maybe you could even have a swim in the Crocodile River while you’re there.

    3@ Bullscot:
    Thanks Bully!

Die krokodille moet pasop, ek sal hulle byt! Hehehe

The Game Threads have already been scheduled… all left to do is do my Bru picks for Saturday’s matches and go pack a bag for the weekend away!

    It’s up at 05:00 for me tomorrow…

Crocodile in Seswati, the franca lingua in that area = Ngwenya, as in the Zim born USA winger who left Habana for deadin RWC 2007.

Not really important, but just a little bit of useless trivia.

Oh, and Nelspruit was once part of Swaziland, hence Seswati being the language used by many in the area. Oh, and the Swazi’s want it back (Nelspruit that is). They claim it was stolen by the Boers way back when and Swaziland’s borders illegally and unilaterally adjusted!

Oh, and same for Pongola. (On both counts of language and borders)

Useless info’, but could win you a round of drinks in a pub bet one day.

    5@ grootblousmile:
Up at 5 EVERY morning for me. Guess it’s indicative of being part of the working class!

I’ve got a Drifta going cheap if you want it for the weekend. Oh sh1t, it won’t work in Nelspruit, (Or most of Kempton Park) sorry.

If talking to oneself really is the first sign of insanity, then WTF is blogging with oneself? Confirmation?

Ah well, rather a lunatic Lions supporter than a genius Bloubul!

  • 9

PS, what do you call a Blue Bulls supporter with only half a brain?

    A. Genius.

    7@ Scrumdown:
I think Handbriekie would bliksem both my eyes shut if I had to use a Drifta during Frank Oppermann’s play on Saturday morning… hehehe

Sy’s kort, maar sy het ‘n giftige right hook!

    9@ Scrumdown:
A Lions supporter might call that Bull GIFTED!

GBS, have a gr8 weekend “innibos”.

Try to keep up to date with the Rugger. Who knows, maybe something special happens.

    12@ Scrumdown:

    Gooi mieliesssss!

Maybe a home grown Kaapie scores the winning try for the Streeptruie.

More likely to be an ex Bull or Lion or maybe a LionBull, but hey one never knows.

For once EVERY SA Rugby supporter North of the Cape of Good Hope will be supporting the Streeptruie.

    Proooblem…… Oh Jammer, Stooooormers!
