@ Morné:60 – Morne, Well I don’t know just read it on sw. The report was from Skysports in NZ. Seems Rebels have struck a deal and all will be confirmed on Monday.

Have to wait and see if it happens.

@ Morné:60 – Just looked at Stuff.co.nz and see they too have a article that Rebels are after O’Connor. Just have to wait and see if it happens.

Would be a big blow to Force if O’Connor does go. The reason I felt Oz should not have got another team in SuperRugby. They don’t have enough players. But please hope they don’t come looking here in SA cause there are plenty here they would want.

    @ Puma:

Spoke to the Rebels this morning, they say there is no deal and the reports in the media are 100% inaccurate.

@ Morné:83 – Okay, hope for the Force then it is no deal. But also see on RugbyHeaven Oz. They too have a article and saying it will be known by Monday if O’Connor signs.

But if you spoke to them then I go by what you know. Cause some of the journos really can type up a storm sometimes. So not gonna take it serious. Not a worry to me as long as they don’t come looking here in SA for any of our players. Which they could.

    @ Puma:

Ja I saw all that too, but no-where did I see someone from the Rebels quoted confirming or denying the rumours.

This is David McNamara’s direct words to me when I asked him for clarity:

“100% inaccurate, thank you for checking”
