The Assupol Super Club Series, which pits 20 Rugby Clubs from 6 provincial unions kicked off this weekend.
This years competition includes top clubs from the Blue Bulls (7), Limpopo (1) Pumas (2 ), Falcons (5), Leopards (3) and Lions (2).The series, which sees more than 1750 amateur club players active in a five-week competition across Provincial borders is now into its fifth year.
The competition is split into four pools of five clubs, with each club represented by four teams. (First, second, third and under 21)
The top team in each log will enter the knockout semi-finals to be played on March 19th, with the winners progressing to the respective finals on March 26th.
