Wales have called up London Wasps and British and Irish Lions back row forward Andy Powell to the squad preparing to face South Africa in the second of Wales Autumn Internationals.
Wales face Soutrh Africa at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday at 2.30pm and will be looking to avenge their loss to the Springboks at the same venue earlier this year in June.
The 14-times capped former Cardiff Blues stalwart last appeared for Wales in the dramatic 31-24 home Six Nations victory over Scotland in February this year, when wing wizard Shane Williams sealed victory with the final play of the match in an injury time grandstand finish.
Although Powell was named as part of the squad to travel to New Zealand on tour this summer, as well as face the Springboks at home before departure, he eventually missed out through injury.

Hmm…they’re worried about Spies, perhaps they know if it wasn’t for Heaslip he would have run through them. If they are going to try and best us up front, they are in for a shock…we have some revisions for our backline to come….they should play Frans at 2nd centre, thats where he plays for Racing.
Agree, Pick a guy that has at least played in the centre’s this season. And if we recall he played centre in place of Jean in the 2007 world cup as well.
For the wales test I would keep my fowards the same as against Ireland. However I would change the bacline a lot.
