Warrick Gelant subbed. I do not think that is wise!
Try Curtis Rona, Tahs?
TMO
Great tackle by Cornal Hendricks, try saving indeed!
No try, lost the ball.
Bulls 5m defensive scrum.
20 Minutes to go in the match.
Once again a Bulls scrum penalty!
Try Curtis Rona, Tahs!
Bulls 21 / 21 Waratahs
Try Bulls, Matanzima!
Bulls 28 / 21 Waratahs
9 Minutes to go.
Bulls defensive lineout, inside their own 22.
Tahs lineout, still inside Bulls territory…
Contact in the air… Tahs penalty.
Kicked to touch, out midway in the Bulls 22.
Another Tahs penalty, late sack.
Popped into the corner.
Hooper knocks.
2 Minutes to go…
Bulls scrum…
Bulls win by 7, no bonus point win.
Tahs get a losing bonus point.
Vodacom Bulls (18) 28 / 21 (7) Waratahs (Final Score)
Bulls faded away badly in the 2nd half… and the Waratahs (who should have suffered more in the high altitude up here in Gauteng) looked fresher and less tired.
Bulls cannot afford to play like this against the Crusaders new weekend!!
One more Super Rugby game to go in this Round, tonight at 21:40 SA Time, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Los Jaguares vs DHL Stormers.
Lizo Gqoboka named Man Of The Match!
Bulls and Sharks now jointly on top of the SA Conference Log… with the Stormers possibly joining them on 28 Log Points IF the Stormers manage a bonus point win.
If the Jaguares win with a bonus point, they could also join the Bulls and Sharks on 28 Log Points.
The South African Conference is as tight as can be…
After tonight’s late game, the Bulls however, would have played 1 game less than the Sharks and the Stormers.
The difficult part though is that the Bulls next game is against the champion Crusaders side, at Loftus… and that is a difficult prospect.
After that the Bulls go on tour and that in itself is also a difficult prospect. They will have to be on top form on tour!
