The aim is to score tries yourself, not awarded a penalty try by the ref. Yellow cards is the answer.
The decision by the ref was correct in the spirit of the game
I think Pukke were hard done by not to have been awarded a Penalty Try before the 80th minute when in the process of scoring a try a player was tackled early… both the Ref and the TMO totally missed it.
But well done to Pukke for gutsing it out for another more than 10 minutes to score the decisive try and convert to win!
For a huge chunk of the 2nd Half Maties was the stronger team and it looked like they played the right rugby to win, but somehow when it really mattered Pukke got that vital 2nd wind and rallied and did it… somehow…
I do not think Maties can feel aggrieved about anything!
Well done Pukke.
Eventually got across the line.
Only managed to catch the game from 81st minute.
Must have been a tight game.
123 @ Scrumdown:
Bloody good game!
Not high-scoring… but scintilating stuff all the way!
Defence both sides was rock-rock solid and monsterously resolute!
OK, I’m out for the Monday night!
Had a hectic day… apart from the usual heavy, heavy stuff with all the building and renovating work also thrown into the mix, we had a burst water mains underground pipe to dig open at one of my properties (had to be the one where the building team was not actively building of course to make things worse)…
The pipe was severed right off… old galvanized steel pipe, half inch… so had to go buy an assortment of stuff to fix it and play plumber as well today, with the help of 2 mamparras to do the digging work ect. Whilst busy with fixing it, I saw it as an opportunity to make the needed fork off the mains water to facilitate the new water connection needed for the 2-bedroom flat / house / apartment at the back of the premises, so had to cut about 40cm of old pipe away, insert a stopper tap with handle and a T-Piece connected to Pollycop Pipe (which will lead to the new 2-bedromm dwelling) and re-joined the old mains line.
Of course the severed pipe and new connection cost me a few extra hours in the day, so I’ll be going on well after midnight tonight… and till well after all of you are fast asleep in the cozy beds…
So, without further a-do, I bid you farewell!
I will be starting my day shortly to work on computers for the 1st time for the day… eish!
So the worst kept secret in rugby has been officially confirmed. Alistaire Coetzee is the new Springbok Coach. Mzwandile Stick is his backline coach and Johan Van Graan his forwards coach.
Congratulations Allister Coetzee on being appointed Springbok coach. Hoping for big things for the Boks.
