Former Springbok coach Jake White has lured another South African player to Montpellier in France.
White has signed former Springbok prop CJ van der Linde from the EP Kings.
34-Year-old Van der Linde, who played 75 Tests for the Springboks, will join his new club at the end of this month.
His departure is a big blow for the EP Kings, as the former Springbok prop was also their scrum coach.
Van der Linde joins a large South African contingent at the ambitious Top 14 club.
Recent South African signings there include: Bismarck du Plessis, (hooker – Cell C Sharks), Jannie du Plessis (prop – Cell C Sharks), Pierre Spies (No 8 – Vodacom Bulls), Bees Roux (prop – Oyonnax), Schalk van der Merwe (prop – Emirates Lions), Demetri Catrakilis (flyhalf – DHL Stormers), Jacques du Plessis (flanker / lock – Vodacom Bulls), Cameron Wright (scrumhalf / flyhalf – Cell C Sharks), Wiaan Liebenberg (flank – Vodacom Bulls) and Paul Willemse (lock – Grenoble).
Former Emirates Lions prop Jacobie Adriaanse will also join Montpellier for a short stint until after the Rugby World Cup (31 October).
Shaun Sowerby is White’s assistant coach, while Pat Cilliers (prop) and Robert Ebersohn (centre) already ply their trade there.
White is reportedly also eager to lure ex-Sharks hooker Craig Burden to Montpellier. The 30-year-old currently plays for Toulon in France.

Farkit, looks like the Southern Kings will field a Vodacom Cup quality side in Super Rugby in 2016, signing never-has-beens like Maks van Dyk & JP du Plessis and losing what remaining has-been quality players like CJ van der Linde that they had under contract.
Not looking good for 2016, considering they have not even got a coaching staff in mind for 2016 either!
@ grootblousmile:
Don’t worry, Jurie & Fikile will look after them.
