One would feel here at Halftime that Benetton has created more chances and achieved more line breaks…
So far so good for SA sides… Sigma Lions winning with a Bonus Point last night and now in the 2nd SA match the Stormers are leading… but both have been against the 2 Italian sides… and one wonders what will happen against the normally stronger Irish and Welsch sides…
Guess we will find out later when the Bulls play Leinster and the Sharks play Munster.
I see the predictions are Leinster for an 18 point win against the Bulls… hope that is hugely wrong!! Leinster however is a Champion side with massive experience and cups to show…
Altogether, I think with the SA sides having moved away from Super Rugby to rather join this Northern Competition is great… specially because we are all within an hour from one another in the time slots…
Think we could generally benefit from encountering totally different approaches to rugby from up North.
Last night Zebre came back hugely against the Lions in the 2nd half, raising serious questions about Lions conditioning to play for 85 minutes… and then possibly about SA sides general conditioning.
Will be interesting to see how the conditioning factor plays out in this match…
Looks hot in Italy… and is quite hot here today in Gauteng too…
