Expected weather: A little morning rain; otherwise, cloudy and mild. High of 15°C and a low of 8°C
Referee: Nigel Owens (Wales)
Assistant Referees: Andrew Brace (Ireland), Brendon Pickerill (New Zealand)
TMO: Brian MacNeice (Ireland)
Halftime: Ireland 13/7 – try in extra time by Lisa Thomson for Scotland. Good to get that score then some good strong build up play and then nice gap taken by the centre to score. 2 tries and a penalty to Ireland
Ag no great break and evading a number of tacklers by Scotland fullback but eventually two Ireland defenders stop her and the support is slow to get there. 58th minute and still 13/7 to Ireland but Scotland have been so dominant in the second half so far making lots of ground many times but then conceding possession with wrong option taking or mistakes after multiple phases. GO SCOTLAND,
Kickable penalty to Scotland but they opt to kick to touch, should have taken the attempt at goals.
Good defending by Ireland stopping Scotland inches short of the line
5m scrum to Scotland
Arghh just as I was saying Ireland would get a lucky intercept and they did, to run almost the entire length of the field to score! Scotland took it up through many phases and then instead of changing direction and bringing the ball back left they put in a pass which was easily intercepted.
68th minute : Ireland 20/7 Scotland, hard to tell from the camera angle of the replay but the Ireland winger seemed to be awful quick to latch on to the intercept…
74th minute Scotland get yet another penalty and finally the yellow card is shown to Leah Lyons – Ireland’s replacement tighthead prop
Strong scrum Scotland, driven back in the tackle close to the line, finally lock scores!
Good conversion by Helen Nelson – try scored by Emma Wassell.
78th min: Ireland 18/14 Scotland – come on Scotland time is running out

sorry that try wasn’t converted so should be Ireland 18
Ireland scrum on halfway line and it collapses using up the time
8 against 8 in the scrum and Scotland get a penalty on halfway and they kick to touch, out just beyond Ireland 10m line. Looks like Ireland had their outside centre at flank in that scrum
82nd minute Scotland still have possesion but then Ireland steal it at the ruck and kick to touch.
Final score: Ireland 18/14 Scotland. Just like yesterday a game that Scotland should have won. Would like to see the 2nd half stats, if Scotland had less than 60% possesion and territory in that half I would be surprised.
Game ON!
Kick-Off by England!
Will be an interesting match, I think…
Maro Itoje receiving some medical attention…
France attack, they get within 5m… Teddy Thomas
Try France
Tryyyyyyyy France, the left wing, Vincent Rattez!
France 7 / 0 England

Yeah, Ireland beat a very game Scotland side.
More surprising to me was how the Stormers dismantled the Hurricanes, 27 / 0
Looks like it is one of those days, where the REAL French side pitched up.
Wow France running away with it.
