No try… he lost the ball.
6 South Africans now in the BaaBaas backline…
3 South Africans in the forwards
BaaBaas 5m penalty, holding on…
Tap by Vermaak.
Fiji penalty, 5m form their line… holding on by Beast.
5m BaaBaas penalty… no release…
Tap, try André Esterhuizen??
TMO
Ruled just short… eish!
How didn’t they score? Thought Lleyds ran so well and should have kept running instead of opting to take the pass
Hey man… that was a try!!
Beast finally subbed..
Say an angle that looked like it just touched but all the other angles made it look short
Only Morné Steyn still on the bench… ahhh there he subs Curwin Bosch!
Though Powell did some good running and varied his play a bit but the service from Vermaak seems much crisper, getting to the rucks and making good passes to keep things going
Bigggg BaaBaas scrum…
Penalty.
Fiji earn another penalty over the ball, 8m from their own line.
Fiji getting away with high tackles, should have been a penalty to Baabaas after high tackle on Mapimpi in the end Fiji got penalty for Baabaas not releasing
Try John Dyer, Fiji!
But one pass surely looked forward!
Barbarians 17 / 33 Fiji
4 Minutes to go…
Try Makazole Mapimpi again.
Barbarians 24 / 33 Fiji
Try Morné Steyn!
Barbarians 31 / 33 Fiji
Fiji win by 2 points…
Was a good comeback by the BaaBaas.
Barbarians (12) 31 / 33 (14) Fiji (Final Score)
Ok close game in the end, missed the last two tries, cheers GBS
Well, that was a good game… enjoyed it a lot.
Players who made biggg differences for the Barbarians when they came on, was Morné Steyn and Jano Vermaak.
Curwin Bosch was average at best and his kicking at posts shoddy. Jano Vermaak’s service much more crisp than the service of Joe Powell.

Cheers Bully!
5 Tries form each of the 2 sides… good old Barbarian style rugby.
Celebration game…
