    Wales also did not look like world beaters in their Quarter, so it should be a battle royale between Wales vs Springboks in the one semi.

    The BIGG one for me next week will be the bruising battle between the All Blacks vs England.

    Who do I expect to win… well the All Blacks, but I will not be surprized if England makes it.

    Wales vs Springboks… anybody’s guess…

    Jean de Villiers says it was the worst of the 4 Quarters and the Bokke will have to up their game against Wales.

    Haven’t seen much of the Wales games but think the Boks should win the battle. Not keen on the game plan but like the Boks commitment and what looks like a good feeling in the squad.

    Who played well and who did not, my take on it:

    Willie le Roux – Simply not good enough
    Lukhanyo Am – Mixed bag
    Siya Kolisi – Not good enough
    Frans Malherbe – Far too quiet, but scrummed well
    Bongi Mbonambi – Not too flush whilst he was on
    Faf de Klerk – His box kicking was woeful but he defended like a man possessed

    Makazole Mapimpi – Good finishing
    Damian de Allende – Mixed bag, but he defended very well
    Handré Pollard – Not too bad
    Duane Vermeulen – Some hard takles, good defence… not really carrying the ball as we expect of him
    Lood de Jager – My Man Of the Match for the Bokke
    Eben Etzebeth – Hard man, worked hard
    Pieter-Steph du Toit – Hard as nails, driving tackles
