Definitely they kept trying, remember the Boks had a longer break between games too.
Wales also did not look like world beaters in their Quarter, so it should be a battle royale between Wales vs Springboks in the one semi.
The BIGG one for me next week will be the bruising battle between the All Blacks vs England.
Who do I expect to win… well the All Blacks, but I will not be surprized if England makes it.
Wales vs Springboks… anybody’s guess…
Jean de Villiers says it was the worst of the 4 Quarters and the Bokke will have to up their game against Wales.
Only 4 teams remain… and only 4 matches remain in Rugby World Cup 2019.
2 Semi Finals
3rd Place Play-off
Final
Haven’t seen much of the Wales games but think the Boks should win the battle. Not keen on the game plan but like the Boks commitment and what looks like a good feeling in the squad.
No points scored by Japan in the 2nd half, 21 Points scored by the Bokke…
Only 1 head coach to lead his team into the semi finals. GO Rassie.
I think the Springboks 2nd half was good… I think we will be upset about the 1st half though…

Yeah, 1 Aussie coach, 2 New Zealand coaches and only 1 home-grown coach!
@ grootblousmile:
There is always so much talk about players representing different countries but nothing about coaches wonder why that is.
Who played well and who did not, my take on it:
Willie le Roux – Simply not good enough
Lukhanyo Am – Mixed bag
Siya Kolisi – Not good enough
Frans Malherbe – Far too quiet, but scrummed well
Bongi Mbonambi – Not too flush whilst he was on
Faf de Klerk – His box kicking was woeful but he defended like a man possessed
Makazole Mapimpi – Good finishing
Damian de Allende – Mixed bag, but he defended very well
Handré Pollard – Not too bad
Duane Vermeulen – Some hard takles, good defence… not really carrying the ball as we expect of him
Lood de Jager – My Man Of the Match for the Bokke
Eben Etzebeth – Hard man, worked hard
Pieter-Steph du Toit – Hard as nails, driving tackles
Well, the Bokke live to fight on and I suppose that’s the target and the mission…
See you… have a good rest of Sunday… see you on the bounce!
