Bokke need to be much more clinical… the game is loose and untidy.
Try RG Snyman, Bokke!
Italy 3 / 44 Springboks
3 Minutes to play… come Bokke, 1 more try wanted!
Kolbe almost with a hat trick try…
1 Minute
Kolbe has limped off…
Bokke penalty advantage… 5m out.
Bokke 5m penalty…
One last dominant Bokke lineout required.
Try Malcolm Marx, Bokke!
Italian Azzurri (3) 3 / 49 (17) South African Springboks (Final Score)
Mission accomplished well by the Springboks, I feel!
Dominant in ALL facets of play!
Oh dear Kolbe didn’t look happy hope it’s not a tournament ending injury just shows what a gamble it was to not have more backs on the bench
7 Tries to NONE
Only a solitary Italy penalty on the board.
Kolbe won’t be needed for next pool game and at least there is 2 weeks till quarter final
46 Point win… certainly much more than I expected.
Pity the Bokke could not break the 50-point barrier.
I think the Springboks certainly laid down a marker in this game, unlike Ireland’s unconvincing win yesterday against Russia.
The form teams seem to be:
– All Blacks
– England
– Springboks
– Wales
– Wallabies
– Japan
To a lessor extent, France and then Ireland.
Scotland is hanging in there, their biggie will have to be against Japan
See you tomorrow morning… 07:15 SA Time, I believe…

Yes way more than I expected may have been closer if Italy didn’t get those early injuries
Cheers
