Free State on fire in this Currie Cup Premier Division of 2019…. but then again, they have the least team interruptions and player departures of the bigger Unions… with the WP, Sharks, Blue Bulls and the Golden Lions giving many players up for the Springboks as well as players leaving for greener pastures after the end of Super Rugby.

If the gulf is THAT big between Free State and Griquas… and with Free State having beaten the Blue Bulls by such a margin last weekend… it basically says one very important thing and that is the Guinness PRO14 is a strong competition and Free State learned a lot there!
