A loss by the Bulls, without a bonus point, will leave them in 8th spot and just barely into the Play-Offs, a win will push them into 5th spot. A Loss with a bonus point will place them in 6th or 7th spot.
A loss by the Lions without a bonus point will mean they are out of the Play-Offs, with a bonus point will place them on 36 Log Points, but whether it will be above either or both of the Chiefs and Highlanders, I am not sure. A win will of course elevate the Lions to 5th spot…
A draw between the Bulls and Lions would place both the teams into the Play-offs!
For South Africa’s sake, a draw will be the perfect result…
For my allegiances towards the Bulls, of course I’d be happy for a Bulls win, but I will shed a silent little tear for the Lions…
