So, the Landers game plan has been to speed everything up and hit hard in wider midfield… and it has been working for them.
Bulls defences have been found wanting on far too many occasions.
The Bulls are making a fist of it though, and they are just not accurate enough at critical times.
The thing is, the Landers have been manufacturing opportunities to score, with clever play.
The Highlanders have also had by far the better deal with possession and territory.
I am hugely disappointed in the referee and his assistants though, choosing not to see or act on blatant transgressions on many, many occasions…
Bulls still in with a change. Far better thsn the Proteas.
What totally irks me of THIS Highlanders side is that they deliberately place players beyond their own rucks, to impede and deliberately play Bulls players… and so make space.
Totally offside and illegal!!

I believe South Africans underestimate how strong and athletic these Maori boys are. I can still easily do three sets of 10 pull-up. Bench 80 kg (3 sets of 12). Was totally surprised with the strength one of my 19 year old Maori students when we did an arm press. These Maori boys are something different.
