Game ON!
Kick-Off by the Chiefs!
Good start to the game by the Lions.
Intercept by the Chiefs, Polwart hauled in by Lombard… knocked by the Chiefs.
Lions penalty, no clear release in the tackle by Anton Lienert-Brown.
Lions over, held up.
5m Attacking Lions scrum, in front of the posts… very dangerous position to attack from.
Lions scrum penalty, they opt to take the easy shot at goal.
Chiefs 0 / 3 Lions
Almost all the possession to the Lions in the 1st 11 Minutes.
What happened to Ackerman’s son and Ruan Dreyer?
Chiefs penalty just inside their own 22, Brad Weber over the ball.
I like the youngster Lombard on 10.

Hello Kalahari,
I’m not sure but I think he followed his father to the UK.
Chiefs penalty, just inside the Lions 22 but the Chiefs opt to take a 6m lineout.
Lions trying hard but not converting. Not sure if yhey will be able to keep this tempo for 80 minutes.
Lost forward in the lineout by the Chiefs, Lions defensive 6m scrum.
Chiefs slowly getting into the game.

Yeah, we’ll have to see.
I picked the Chiefs as winners on SuperBru.
But the Chiefs themselves have been woeful this season, except for the game where they slaughtered the Bulls at Loftus.
Chiefs penalty, against Kwagga Smith, not releasing.
Chiefs penalty for playing the man in the air at the lineout… they pop the ball into the corner.
Lions not hitting the ball with pace. Essentially standing when they receive the ball. That has been their problem this year. Too lateral and no speed onto the ball.

Their other problem has been some seriously sub-standard players in amongst their stalwarts… with a lot of players having left the Lions. They have average locks, loosies struggling (should be better tonight with Kwagga & Whiteley back)… and all in all I do not think their coach Swys de Bruyn is as good as what Ackerman was.

Colin Cooper was a disataster at yhe Canes as coach. He is busy f***n up the Chiefs as well. However the chiefs has been better in their last three games, beating Bulls in SA and the Jaguares in Argentina.
Lions scrum penalty, on their 22.
23 @ McLook:
It just once again shows the value of a really good coach, hey… both in the case of the Chiefs and Lions!
30 minutes in only 3 points in it.
Another Lions scrum penalty, on the Chiefs 10m line.
Posts.

Yip, coaches makes teams. No doubt in my mind about that.
Chiefs 0 / 6 Lions

I agree.
Fleckie also needs to be replaced at your team, the Stormers.
Pote Human is already better at the Bulls, but I wonder if he is a long-term answer at the Bulls.
