Cheetahs 33 / 25 Kings
The reason the Cheetahs got nowhere this season is because their flyhalves are very, very, very poor…
Sure they have mule kicking boots at posts… but that is it, they have NOTHING more to offer.
Both are weak, poor, hapless defenders, bad distributors, can’t attack a line to save their lives, and a much bigger liability than what they are worth as kickers.
Try Benhard Janse van Rensburg, Cheetahs!
Cheetahs 40 / 25 Kings
Cheetahs centres and scrumhalves are good, their wings have speed (but are bad defenders), their front row is good enough for Super Rugby, their locks are good enough… their loosies are OK…
The other thing is, each year the Cheetahs have to rebuild completely as they lose many, many players each year.
I wonder when Joseph Dweba will be bought by a Super Rugby franchise… or be signed in the UK.
He has serious potential.
Kings make 3 subs… 1,2 and 6
2nd Try to Shaun Venter, Cheetahs!
Cheetahs 47 / 25 Kings
Kings muck up the restart, scrum middle spot.
Rudy Paige on for the Cheetahs.
How has his value dropped, to now be the 3rd choice scrummie for the Cheetahs, after being a Springbok a while ago…
Cheetahs penalty, playing the No 9.
5m Out.
Cheetahs opt to scrum.
Gbs not sure how good Sexton is he had a spell at Exeter early in his career but seems to have played mostly in the Championship which is the level just below Premiership
Try Malcolm Jaer, Cheetahs!
Cheetahs 54 / 25 Kings
7 Minutes to go.
Cheetahs penalty.
So, the result here is beyond question, Cheetahs will win handsomely.
2 Minutes…
Kings penalty, Maxwane holding on.
One last scrum…
Cheetahs scrum penalty…
Try Cheetahs, No 17, Boan Venter!
TMO
Try is good, conversion done.
Game over!
Toyota Cheetahs (28) 61 / 25 (13) Southern Kings (Final Score)
9 Tries to 3 tries
