This could be The Game Of The year. (if NZ win of course……………………..just kidding Be Happy ).
    I’m going NZ by 7…………………………..but then again I would wouldn’t I.

Lets hope it’s a hard fought tussle with no bitching about The Officials post match.

    Many factors to consider here:
    – Altitude.
    – Rabid Loftus crowd.
    – Travel, although it looks like The All Blacks have settled in well.
    – Motivation, surely both teams are up for this one.
    – Referee’s subliminal leaning to appease the great unwashed. (happens everywhere).
    – Pressure/confidence, will the less experienced players cope when the shit hits the fan……………………and it will.

    May The best Team win.

    1 @ cane:
I think the All Blacks are severely pissed off to have lost to the Springboks in New Zealand…

I think the All Blacks will be hell-bent not to lose 2 games in a row against the Springboks!

So, I expect hell and brimfire from them and I think they WILL throw the kitchen sink at the Springboks.

I expect the All Blacks to win… by a good margin… even in South Africa, at altitude and at the Bokke’s home crowd.

Both sides will be fired up, both sides will be motivated, but the habit of winning will come through for the All Blacks.

    @ grootblousmile:
    Groot,

If you can win in Wellington.
    You can win in Pretoria.
Even the bounce of the ball is different up there.

I hope you enjoy The Match.

It’s a little too late for me to watch live, so I’ll catch a replay tomorrow morning.
These are the Best of the Best Test Matches.

I dont know where i stand with this game. I think it will be most important.
    1. I Bokke win Rassie will be a super hero, may be rightfully so, and the All Blacks will be totally derailed
    2. If All Blacks win the World order will be restored. Bokke back in no mans land and long knives out.

The arrogance and poor kicking cost the AB,s dearly. Surely they will be better this time.
Can the Bokke be better than last time?

This game can change the pattern or not.
At least it left me wondering who to pick

I am still worried about an out and out “Fetcher Flank” for the Springboks….

We cannot just rely on guys like Malcolm Marx (at hooker) the be a serious thron in the All Blacks’ flesh at the breakdowns, we need 1 flanker who deliberately plays towards and over the ball… who makes All Blacks ball slow and cumbersome and difficult to distribute to their dangerous backs.

Additionally we will again have to be right IN the faces of the All Blacks on defence, all the time, right throughout the whole game, offering them no space to operate and create havoc.

We cannot and should not expect them to make the same mistakes as in Wellington and we should definately not expect them to squander opportunities the way they did in Wellington!

The Springboks also NEED to get at least parity in possession and in the territorial stakes.

We cannot expect the Springboks to continue a winning habit agaianst the All Blacks with a smaller amount of possession or evening out the territorial battle!

Last time out in Wellington, we also have to remember that Beauden Barrett’s kicking to goal was off the mark and we have seen him completely correct that against the Pumas last weekend.

So, I do not think we can bargain on wayward goal kicking at all again.

Jack Goodhue is out of the All Blacks team with flu… in his place Ryan Crotty and in Crotty’s place on the bench is Anton Lienert-Brown.
