handling and passing skills well below par and with that you’d expect to lose most games.
Boks ultimately better than I thought they will be. Rookie mistakes cost us the match.
Cheers all
and that was a waste of my time. Goodnight guys. Enjoy the 7’s quarter.

WELL DONE Notshe………I am baffled by people chosen for this test. I have very mixed emotions at the moment. Now we can only hope that Rassie has a massive plan. Cause another season of this will kill SA Rugby. We are already at a virtual no supporter at stadium situation. Players being picked that are not the best. I understand the concept of building depth and all that…..but surely this display today was a mixture of stupidity, desperation and all mixed in with a whole lot…..I don’t even know what.
OK, so what do we know?
Curwin Bosch: Not anywhere near Test Quality
Travis Ismaiel: Not near Test quality
Daniel du Preez: Had a shocker
Oupa Mahoje: He is just absolutely terrible
Ox Nche: Not a good debut
Chiliboy Ralepelle: He is diabolically terrible
Sikhumbuzo Notshe: Not a good test
Marvin Orie: Not up to standard
Robert du Preez: Cost the Bokke the game with 2 charge down kicks one after the other.
Coach: Rassie did not even come close to passing his first examination. Terrible selections, no combinations, no clear plan….
Players who stood out or made a positive difference:
– Pieter-Steph du Toit
– Akker van der Merwe
– Steven Kitshoff
– Ivan van Zyl
– André Esterhuizen
– To a degree… Warrick Gelant
My 1st choice Springbok side would be:
15. Warrick Gelant
14. Sibusiso Nkosi
13. Lukhanyo Am
12. André Esterhuizen
11. Makazole Mapimpi
10. Handré Pollard
9. Louis Schreuder
8. Jean-Luc du Preez
7. Siya Kolisi
6. Kwagga Smith
5. RG Snyman
4. Pieter-Steph du Toit
3. Ruan Dreyer
2. Bismarck du Plessis (pity Malcolm Marx is injured)
1. Steven Kitshoff
Note that I only use Bismarck du Plessis as foreign player, due to the injury to Malcolm Marx. I am absolutely loathe to pick any overseas based player, unless I have to!!
Same shit.
Different year.

All my life i said the Springboks are the TOP off every rugby players career. Not the place where you groom a player. Playing for the countries first team is the pinnacle of your career not a hope and hit school.
