So, predictions for this one??
Let’s look at the combinations Rassie has picked for the Bokke…
Front row: No established combinations… whatsoever!
Locks: 2 Good players from totally different Provinces who has never played together.
Looseforwards: 3 Players playing for 3 different Provinces / Clubs.
Halfbacks: Faf de Klerk & Handré Pollard has not played together in ages, if ever.
Midfield: 2 Players from different Provinces…. a terribly predictable inside centre matched with an outside centre who will receive far too little ball form a centre who does not distribute.
Back 3: 2 Debutant wings and an overseas-based fullback who have NEVER played together.
On top of it, the locks have not played with the frontrowers, the locks have not played with the loosies…. the loosies have not played with the halfbacks in yonks, if at all…
Conclusion… Springboks will be hugely disjointed and could easily be unsettled.
Cannot see a Springbok win under THESE circumstances…
@2 am with you on combinations being important Gbs. After his performance especially 2nd half last week thought Esterhuizen would be playing and would have made even more sense with Am picked. But haven’t seen the Sharks play so don’t know how good a partnership they are but they would certainly be more familiar with each other’s play..
GO BOKS!
Wilco Louw playing in place of Trevor Nyakane today.

Would have made perfect sense to play André Esterhuizen next to Am…. they combine well and André Esterhuizen plyed next to Pollard in the Junior Bokke a couple of years ago…. in addition Nkosi is next to Am on the outside, so 3 or 4 combining there would have been nice.
Must also bear in mind the positive confident frame of mind the Saracens players will be in having won the Premiership in style. 5 out of the 8 starting forwards from Saracens.
Players out on the field…
Anthems up next…
England Anthem up first…
@6 sounds sensible although just concerned for there to be too many Sharks in the Bok backline if you consider where they are in Super Rugby, but maybe all those players in a different coaching environment would play better
Now for Nkosi…
Will altitude play a factor? So many variables and unknowns maybe the game will be won by the team that makes the fewest mistakes

Well, anything is better than Damian de Allende…
England forwards are much more of a combined and combination pack… we could get bullied up front…
Game ON!
Kick-Off by the Springboks!
England penalty, Jean-Luc not staying on his feet.
Shot at goal from 60m out!!!
Stupid play by Du Preez.
Overrr… wow!
Springboks 0 / 3 England
Try Mike Brown, England, near left corner!
Very shoddy defence!!!
Springboks 0 / 10 England
1st scrum…
England scrum penalty… binding on the arm.
Bokke penalty on halfway, Kolisi over the ball… kick to touch.
Bokke lineout Free Kick… closing the gap!
Bokke opt to scrum… on the 22.
Bokke penalty… 7m out… offside
Posts it is.
Springboks 3 / 10 England
