Kick-Off by the Crusaders!
It is raining heavily at Eden Park, Auckland!
Try George Bridge, Saders!
Blues 0 / 7 Crusaders
Try Blues, Matt Duffie!
Blues 5 / 7 Crusaders
Blues 5 / 10 Crusaders
Saders 5m scrum…
The problem with current S15 set-up is that the Jaguares and the Sunwolves are playing just about their national sides in the competition. The real embarrasing thing for SA is that even if we play a selected Springbok team in the competition we will still loose all our matches in NZ. The Jaguares in contrast went on tour and won all their matches; two of them being played in NZ.
Saders 5m penalty, they opt to scrum.
Try Quinten Strange, Saders!
Blues 5 / 17 Crusaders
Jamie Joseph have taken the Sunwolves within half of one season and beat an Aussie and SA franchise. Fleckie is in his third season with the Stormers and they are still struggling.
Blues penalty, kicked out 10m out.

All the South African sides have coaches who are new or relatively new…
Stormers: Robbie Fleck (He has no excuse, really)
Lions: Swys de Bruin – took over from Ackermann
Bulls: John Mitchell – 1st Super Rugby season in charge
Sharks: Robert du Preez – not been there long
Try Saders… was difficult to see who scored.
Blues 5 / 22 Crusaders
Blues penalty on halfway…
Try Blues, Rieko Ioane!
TMO
Try stands…
Blues 12 / 22 Crusaders
Blues penalty, kicked to touch, lineout 3m inside the Saders half.
Saders penalty… as the hooter goes in the background.
Try Bryn Hall, Saders!

Lions are already not the side the were last year. Your criteria should be whether you are getting match by match. Bulls seems to be improving. Stormers no progress really over 3 years. Sharks seems to be improving but are not consistent (ond match good next one average). This seems to me to be one of the characteristics of the kiwi coaches: they focus on improving basic match by match. Percentage rugby with winning almost being the byproduct of hitting high percentages in all facets of play. You listen to interviews with Joseph esrly in the tournament and that was all he was talking about; plsying better than the week before.
Blues 12 / 29 Crusaders

Yeah, first time ever that the Sunwolves go 2 wins in a row… good stuff by Jamie Joseph.
Tough game coming up for the Bulls against the high-flying Jaguares this weekend in Argentina!
I did not see the sunwolves vs stormers match but to have one of our top traditional sides loose against a Japanese outfit is just acceptable for me.
Just not acceptable. Not got lost in typing.
