Let’s look at the Bokke performance today:

Scrums went well, even dominant at times… a good tick there!
    Lineouts was a mixed bag…
Backline attack was not so good, and I think it started with Hougie who took too many steps before passing and a general lack of accuracy in attack…
Defence… overall it was good, with a couple of lapses in concentration…

Beast: He is a bit over the hill, not so good
Malcolm Marx: Always solid but I expected a little bit more from him… some good steals over the ball
Coenie die Boef: Had a good scrumming game, couple of good runs, he was better last week though
Franco Mostert: Was tireless but a bit quiet and did not “Shine”… but was OK
Eben Etzebeth: Was busy and industrious, carried the ball well
Siya Kolisi: Was nice and busy, good game by him
Jaco Kriel: Was a bit quiet, but not a bad game
Uzair Cassiem: Was a bit absent, I think
Francois Hougaard: Not a good game, threw and intercept pass too… some wrong options… not his best day at the office
Elton Jantjies: Not too bad, kicked well to posts after 2 early misses and generally distributed well
Jan Serfontein: Not such a good game from him, I feel
Jesse Kriel: Mixed bag, not bad… but not great today
Courtnall Skosan: Also a bit of a mixed bag, not bad but also not on fire
Raymond Rhule: Far too quiet, not a good day for him
Andries Coetzee: Works hard, solid enough but also made a few crucial mistakes, could also have been better

    @ grootblousmile:
Beast: He is a bit over the hill, not so good agree, he can be replaced and not be missed
Malcolm Marx: Always some good steals over the ball best we have
Coenie die Boef: Had a good scrumming game, couple of good runs, never thought we would like him, he has become a good prop holding his own
Franco Mostert: Was tireless but a bit quiet and did not “Shine”… He looked sheepish in that try from the kick off. He should have gone for that ball, but otherwise OK
Eben Etzebeth: Was busy and industrious, carried the ball well, i liked his bollocking runs, becoming a good lock, must just check his anger
Siya Kolisi: Was nice and busy, good game by him agree, he must do this against the other 2 teams too
Jaco Kriel: Was a bit quiet, but not a bad game, liked the way he played his tighter part, not such a lose game, against ABs and Aus the game will not be that tight and he might be devastating
Uzair Cassiem: Was a bit absent, I think, was he there. Warren will walk back in if he is fit again

Francois Hougaard: Not a good game, threw and intercept pass too… some wrong options… not his best day at the office. Too slow in distribution with this game plan
Elton Jantjies: for me he was good, not brilliant, kicked well to posts after 2 early misses and generally distributed well, i liked his try. As far as i can remember Barret is not a great defender and this might just be another chance for Elton
Jan Serfontein: Not such a good game from him, I feel but getting better and combines well
Jesse Kriel: Mixed bag, not bad… made a few poor decisions, but the combo is one of our better ones for a long time
Courtnall Skosan: Also a bit of a mixed bag, not bad but also not on fire
Raymond Rhule: got almost no ball, not a great day for him
Andries Coetzee: solid enough but also made a few crucial mistakes, could become one of our best 15s for a very long time
