Lions win.
Sharks held scoreless in the 2nd half…
Who is playing who?

Stormers vs Chiefs op Nuweland
OK, so now there are only 8 Super Rugby teams left… and it is now knock-out rugby!
Who to back from here for possibly winning the tournament?
I suppose the Crusaders are favourites to win, then maybe the Hurricanes, then Lions.
I would expect all the New Zealand sides to go through to the semis round, bar one of them and for the Lions to also go through…
I fully expect the Sharks to fall by the wayside, so too the Stormers and the Brumbies…

OK folks, that is me out for the rest of the evening!

Thanks Pal, geniet die aand
Congratulations to the Leo’s on winning the Round Robin section of the Tournament.
This is a huge advantage going into the playoffs. HUGE.
If they lost to the Dog Fish next week, that would be a major major upset.
My Hurricanes should beat Bumby Boys Show Pony’s. But Canberra is a tricky place to win away from home.
And I’m hoping the Highlanders can cause an upset and beat the Crusaders.
Stormers/Chiefs……………………………this will be close. very close.
If Wins go according to form, this would be The Semi’s:
But it is not yet written. And that is why we love sport so much.
The last page in any book you ever read, was written years before.
The last line, in any song you ever heard, has been sung a hundred times. (maybe a million).
But in live sport……………………………………anything can happen. Just ask the Sunwoffers.
So:
Lions vs Canes……………………….Once again, home advantage is HUGE here.
Crusaders vs Chiefs……………………..I’m hoping for an upset here too.
Final:
Lions at home against the Crusaders.
But the Final I would like to see is ……………………………..not this one.
England just out to bat in the semifinal against South Africa in the World Cup. SA batted first and got 218/6 in the 50 overs something at least for the bowlers to defend but think England will probably be too good in the end, hope am wrong.
Apparently the PRO12 board are meeting today to discuss the rumoured changes so maybe there will be an announcement later about the participation of the Kings and Cheetahs.
England need 54 from 10 and a half overs with 5 wickets in hand come on need to get wickets
14 runs needed from last 3 and a bit overs should be comfortable win for England
5 runs from 10 balls 3 wickets in hand
Well done England through to the final 221/8 got there with 2 balls to spare. SA did well to get to the semifinal but should be unhappy that they let this one slip could have won it
So it seems to be confirmed that Kings and Cheetahs will play in PRO14 with the first round of games scheduled for the first week in September. Two conferences of 7 teams with each conference having two Irish two Welsh one Italian one Scottish and one South African team. Although we wait for the official confirmation of this and the detail on each team in the conferences and match schedules. In past years the Pro12 have often only announced some of the fixtures for the latter part of the season during the season rather than listing them all ahead of the season will see if it is different this time.
