Over Lions in the lead. Three minutes to go.

  • 123

Just more than 2 minutes to go…

  • 124

Cruden tries a stupid cross-kick… should have kept hands on ball!

    Lions should now WIN!!!

  • 125

Minute to go. Lions line out. Win and control up to the siren is the job.

  • 126

Seconds to go… Lions have the ball…

  • 127

    Lions win….

I suppose so, yes… but the last time the All Blacks scored no try in a Test was in 2014…

Interesting stat Gbs shows how good NZ are. Even more interesting that red card waa first for an All Black since 1967 according to Robert Kitson!

2 tries against none. Well deserved victory.

  • 132

Surprise result maybe before the game but once that red card was issued possibly less of a surprise and of course it takes us to a decider next week.

    129 @ Bullscot:
Yeah, only the 3rd Red Card ever in a Test for the All Blacks!!

  • 134

The 3rd Test at Eden Park in Auckland will be massive!!!

  • 135

Congratulations EWIL, looks like Mr Gatland’s gambles paid off thanks to SBW, maybe he should buy a lottery ticket.

Wonder if that will prove to be a very decisive moment for World Rugby considering the perceptions surrounding the treatment of NZ from refs, has their aura decreased a bit?

  • 137

    Very happy for Gatland.

Our next game here on Rugby-Talk.com is this afternoon at 15:05 SA Time, when the Toyota Cheetahs host the DHL Stormers….

    See you for that one!

    136 @ Bullscot:
    Interesting observation!

I have also noticed today that All Blacks players did not hang around way on the other side of the rucks in offside positions to hinder the Lions…

Would be good if the All Blacks just get exactly the same treatment as any other Test nation on the globe!!

  • 140

When the All Blacks were 7 points up, with 8 or 9 minutes to go… I thought that they would hold on and close the game out.

Then the Lions showed massive brass balls for the Conor Murray try… and then it evened up… 21 all…

Good stuff, showed some heart and spirit, and for once the All Blacks cracked… maybe a bit of complacency mixed with the Red Card added to it…

Shows you how small the margins are in the world of rugby… if you are not completely ON YOUR GAME, you will lose!!

  • 141

Studio people are right… heard and saw almost ZERO from the dangerous All Blacks wings…

What would The All Blacks have done to The BIL, had the reverse of The Red Card occurred.
Don’t get me wrong, Red card was justified.

This was a victory of sorts for NZ. Not the one we were looking for, but a victory of sorts just the same.
    Remember:
    The Alamo,
    Dunkirk.
    Stalingrad.
    Khe Sanh.

The Ref had a great game. As have all Ref’s thus far on the Tour.

Eden Park next week……………………………………bring it on.

Congratulations to All The BIL supporters out there.
You realise we Kiwi’s can’t get tickets to these games because of you lot………………………. Great to have you here, you bring colour, humour, and dignity to Rugby. Thanks for coming all this way. You are by far The Best Rugby Fans in the world..

    cane.

P.S. that does not include you Big Hit.

Wyatt Crockett played his 61st test tonight.
He has been in the winning Team …………………………….58 Times.
He has had one draw………………………………………………..against OZ.
He has been in the losing Team twice……………………….once against Old Blighty, and tonight against The BIL.

Surely the most impressive record of any International ever.
A shame, a red card had to dilate such an achievement.
