I’m a great admirer of both camps actually.
Froggie Flair vs Bokke Muscle.

But these days ………………………The Frogs don’t have a great deal of flair,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it’s been Coached out of them.
When did we last see a Serge Blanco? Or anyone even nearing that kind of natural rugby genius wearing the red white and blue.
Rugby has changed. Professionalism has turned a once envied culture of rugby finesse, into……………………just another team.

As for the Bokke muscle?
It’s still there. Always will be. But SA Rugby needs a spark. Something to ignite it. Your Age Group Teams seem to have it. And the BlitzBoks have it for sure. It will happen. There are plenty of individual players with the spark. You just need a Team of them.

I rue the lack of vision by SARU… and I rue the lack of succession planning in SA Rugby, SA Coaching, Springbok coaching… ect.

South Africa is battling to find coaches of quality and substance… and when we have some, SARU chop their hands off at the elbows!
