Can you guys see the Lions succeed against the Crusaders, Chiefs or Hurricanes… with this style of play??
…. maybe against the Hurricanes because the Canes forwards are not that robust…. but then again the Hurricanes when running will be difficult to contain and they might put a huge score up against the predictable Lions…. running them way off their feet!
…. Against the Highlanders… Lions could possibly win… but once again if the Landers get up a head of steam, the Lions will feel the pain!
OK, I am outa here… enjoy the day!
@ grootblousmile:
I initially took the Lions by 4 but changed to Blues by 8 when I read last night that Umaga would be playing up to 8 All Blacks!

@ grootblousmile:
The 5th game of The Tour is against NZ Maori.
I would not judge this Team until then. They need time to establish best combinations/best players (not the same thing) , and how to best use these combinations. They should be fully acclimatised by next week, that will help.
Everybody knew how tough this Tour would be………………….so no surprises on that count so far.
They will possibly lose to both the Saders and the Highlanders, before the Maori game, and we should not be surprised if they do,
the Locals have had 14 or 15 games together already, a huge plus for them.
