Don’t forget Champions Cup final kick off 6 pm South African Standard Time today. Will have to record it but hopefully will see some of it live
Saders brave, they go for touch….
Saders over… try!
@ grootblousmile:
Hi Gbs makes a bit of a change for Super Rugby thought defence was merely an optional extra in Super Rugby
Try was by Matt Todd!
Crusaders 14 / 9 Hurricanes
34 @ Bullscot:
Hahahaha
Yesterday’s Brumbies / Lions game was just as tight on defence!
But you are right, we have seen a lot of very high scoring games, specially by the New Zealand teams against Aussie, Japanese and South African sides!!!

There you go should have spoken sooner
Referee Jaco Peyper missing some crucial knocks in the game… this time he misses a Saders knock…
@ grootblousmile:
#37 I only jest because I like the expansive try scoring game, although also like things to be in balance so non existent defence is not a preference either
Canes relieving penalty….

There seems to be an opinion among some fans here that refs are letting things go like that and forward passes and skew scrum feeds just to keep the game moving. It’s not right.
40 @ Bullscot:
These New Zealand sides just in a league of their own this year… they can break a team and then nail them hard, hard, hard!
Saders penalty… against a Savea brother… Ardie!
Shot at goal.
Crusaders 17 / 9 Hurricanes
42 @ Bullscot:
Yeah, it is not right!!
The skew scrum feed thing is a travesty, there is NO justice there!
Jordie Barrett slots a Canes penalty.
Crusaders 17 / 12 Hurricanes
High tackle on Wes Goosen… Canes penalty.
Canes penalty, 15m out… Canes kick to the corner.
@ grootblousmile:
#46 It happens so often why don’t they just say a scrum is merely a way of restarting the game like kick offs and say it is fine to pur the ball in however you want, probably because they don’t want to alienate us long serving fans, but that is effectively what it’s become
Another Canes penalty….
Strage old lineout, as both Julian Savea and Jordie Barrett (backline players) were IN that lineout.. and Jordie Barrett took that lineout ball!!
Saders scrum penalty, 5m from their own line.
10 Minutes to go in the match…. still anybody’s game!
I see I picked the Crusaders by 6 on SuperBru…. so very close to that at present.
Saders defence in the Canes faces… the whole game… and here they get another defensive penalty!!
It is on the Canes 10m line… kickable…
Crusaders 20 / 12 Hurricanes
5 Minutes to go… 8 points deficit.
Serious uphill battle now for the Canes.
Canes will have to score now if they want any say in the game…
Crusaders scrum penalty, against Ben May…
Saders now firmly in control…
Knock by the Saders in the resulting lineout…
But now the Canes have a scrum against the mighty Saders scrum…. and then 75m to go….
