Edinburgh have signed the Akker’s younger boet winger Duhan vd Merwe from Montpellier. Looks a big bloke still young so hope it works out well for him and Edinburgh. Had a look and seen he is listed as having played twice for Blue Bulls but press report here said he has played Super Rugby for Blue Bulls. Now it is Bulls in Super Rugby so wonder has he played Super Rugby or not if he played for Blue Bulls surely it would be Currie Cup or Vodacom Cup or something maybe even the 10s?

No I won’t be going….. far too many things to do!
What are the succession plans at Lions for coach leaving and, is his son going to end up following him? He is still young but with the change to 5 year residency to represent a different country may be the wait to try play for England would be too long, although could see his dad maybe involved coaching at England at some point after Judas.
