what’s your observation GB? Is it good attacking rugby or leaky defense? Must be something influencing this. Totally abnormal scoreline.
Nouja… let me just go grab a bite to chow as well… feel a bit skraal.
You confirmed my sense. Too many holes for guys to sneak through. But some moments of brilliance on attack. Just a few though.
61 @ Tassies:
Enough of both…
Lions not clearing their lines well at all upon kick-off receipts…
Waratahs forwards are suspect… the Lions are manhandling them…
2nd Half ON!
Lions penalty, Jaco Kriel all over Latu!
Tahs try?
Also a foul play report…
TMO
Penalty against Elton Jantjies.. early tackle ruled…
No try… only the penalty
Tahs 5m lineout.
Arghhh Whiteley knocks….
Lions scrum penalty, quick tap by Ross Cronje…
Drop Goal by Elton Jantjies… over!
Lions 36 / 24 Waratahs
Tryyyyyyyyy Rohan Janse van Rensburg again…. Lionsssss!
Lions 43 / 24 Waratahs
Stronggggg play by Rohan Janse van Rensburg, strong in the hips!
Tahs peanlty advantage… offside… penalty given.
Tahs muck up their attack in the lineout and pass out to touch…
Jantjies eventually clears to touch.
Israel Folau is conspicious in his absense today… missing in action.
back from a short interlude to probe my currie into the next stage
Tahs close… 5m penalty.
Lions will get a talking to… and a Yellow Card to Franco Mostert.
Tahs now opt to scrum from the penalty…
so I return to a Lions yellow. Maybe I should’ve stayed in the kitchen
and then…………a Tahs try. Bugger.
Try David McDuling, Tahs!
GB, what’s your take on the Kiwi vs the Oz vs the Ours performances to date? Are the Kiwi’s way ahead of the game in your HO?
Lions 43 / 29 Waratahs
85 @ Tassies:
Kiwis are way, way ahead… I don’t know if you saw the Hurricanes / Rebels game early this morning….. phweeeew!
Lions tighthead in the scrum…
I’m liking the way the Lions are coached to run onto the ball. Very little static attacking play(which is good). This Tahs team is no bad unit for sure. Massive pedigree and playing to that. But that Lion tighthead was massive.
Arghhh Lions ball goes loose… Tahs scrum, deeeeeeep in their own 22.
