Force player down, seriously injured!!
Stretcher cart is on!

Hi Scrumdown are you saying the ref was a player in the front row? If so how can he keep up with the game does he just stand on the halfway line or is he subbed at halftime

Didn’t see it. What happened?
Saders scrum penalty on about halfway.

Hello Bully
I was just being sarcastic. ALL REF’s should be made to scrum 30 times in 80 minutes before they get to referee at international level IMO.
33 @ Scrumdown:
Force had the ball behind the ruck inside their own goal… hands on the ball… Romano came around, ball was deemed out and he pounced on the ball!
Try was awarded… after consultation with the TMO.
Very dubious!
Try Cody Taylor, Saders!

There is no offside in the in-goal area, so it sounds as if it may have been the correct decision.
Force can take the 3 points for a penalty now and the ref’ can blow the game over due to the inclement weather.
THEN my Superbru will be spot on.
Does not look like a bad crowd for a Friday night game?
@ Scrumdown:
maybe if they did they would be more strict as they would be more aware of the shenanigans that go on there – vicks in the eyes, sneeky punches coming through from the second rows… couldn’t think of a worse place to be trapped in such close quarters between other sweaty folks

But I could think of a few BETTER places.
@ grootblousmile:
#36 is it down to different offside rules behind the try line?
39 @ Scrumdown:
44 @ Bullscot:
The contentious part is not the offside rule… it is the fact that the Force had the ball IN HAND on the GROUND already, behind the ruck and inside their own goal area!
Commentators also commented that if anybody dotted down it was them and not Romano!
Should have been a Saders 5m scrum… or if deemed that the ball cas not carried back to inside the goal area, a 22m drop out for the Force.
Try Marcel Brache, Force?
TMO
No try, Force penalty 10m out… man tackled early!
Another Force penalty, quick tap… and then a knock!
Force blowing a lot of chances

These 3 words should not be used in the same sentence!
Force handling is kak.
I barely picked in time on SuperBru this morning… 2 or 3 minutes before kick-off!
Picked the Saders for a win with nearly this type of margin, I think!
Still need to pick for all 6 of tomorrow’s games!
Yellow Card for the Force No 8, Naisarani!
9 Minutes to go in the match.
Try Saders, David Havili!
“The contentious part is not the offside rule… it is the fact that the Force had the ball IN HAND on the GROUND already, behind the ruck and inside their own goal area!”
As die soort drie toegeken word gaan Rugby in n gemors ontaard. As jy dood druk en gaan dit mos nie meer tel nie?
Crusaders 40 / 17 Force
Geez. Turn my back for 2 minutes and the Kiwis really screw my SB up.
55 @ superBul:
TMO sisteem is al die laaste 3 jare ‘n boggerop.
Hoopeloos te veel besluite geneem wat nie sin maak nie.
SANZAAR is amper so “useless” soos Wereld Rugby IMO.
What chance the Bulls v the Blues tomorrow gents?
@ grootblousmile:
@45 ahh ok getting an idea now, as you say you would think if Force already had a player who had his hand on the ball on the ground in goal then it should be 22 dropout. Will try see it some time, there is a law guru on 365 who analyzes things like this maybe he will do an article on it soon. Teams get away with hands in the ruck too much although from your description the ball was grounded behind the ruck.
