Not a bad match at all
pity we do not score when possible
scottish are a pain in the the ruck
we lost this battle and endangered the match there…
with their props not injured that would have been another dance
we need to improve the ruck and variation in attack
and this
and that
and this
and that
to go somewhere
at least we stop being pityful 😳
Sorry guys GBS is busy with my PC,s shame the poor man.
@ rebop75:
Hi rebop75 haven’t watched the game back from recording but looks like the score was quite close considering how dominant your scrum was how many penalties we conceded and especially how brutal it was for our players with all the injuries picked up in the game. Even before the game though thought it odd Vern Cotter went in with 3 7s even if Barclay is more of a hybrid for me is essentially an opensider that can do well at 8 yet he started at 6. Thought that even if he didn’t want to start them he should have had either Wilson or du Preez on the bench. Hardie on form is a fine player but his selection meant we had 3 7s in our 23. As it was unfortunately Hardie got injured soon after coming on and was replaced by Swinson a lock.
Disappointed to see Josh Strauss is leaving Glasgow Warriors at end of season. Also pity about Mark Bennett and Gordy Reid who will be leaving as well. Bennett is going to Edinburgh not sure where Strauss and Reid are going.
Officially confirmed Oli Kebble is joining Glasgow Warriors. He has signed a two year deal subject to the usual medical and visa requirements. Welcome to Glasgow Oli will be good to take the load off young Zander Fagerson and handy to have around during international time unless the Boks come calling…
