89 @ Scrumdown:
Yeah… at least that much is true!
SA rugby needs settling down. Less interference and more focus on modern trends and science. Much less interference and focus on race and other side shows if we are to progress. Sadly, there does not seem to be a trend in that direction.
10 Minutes to go in the game.
92 @ Tassies:
Unfortunately the overhaul needs to start at primary school level.
Stormers penalty, good touchfinder.
Try Nizaam Carr, Stormers!
Carr!!!!!!!!
Comeback of the decade?
Stormers 21 / 39 Chiefs
Chiefs penalties in succession… last one against Carr.
Schreuder on for Groom…
Bigggg Chiefs maul…. try!
Hika Elliott!
Stormers 21 / 46 Chiefs
That try means it’s game over for the Stormers. Sorry Tassies.
Less than 3 minutes to go…
104 @ Lion4ever:
It was really over by Halftime already…
How can a side; travel half way round the world, in a couple of days, play on an alien ground, in alien conditions; give our local side a complete hiding, in their own back yard? If Fleck and his support management team isn’t embarrassed then I’ll make it up for them: I am thoroughly embarrassed on their behalf but totally unsurprised. I backed the Chiefs to win by 6 on Bru. So I was wrong. Maybe I should have pitched that as 30 or even 40. How pathetic is that?
Where is SA rugby going?
If I had the answer I’d tell you.
Try Chiefs, Tevita Koloamatangi!
Stormers 21 / 53 Chiefs
Seconds to go…
Dankie bruvvas, vir die lekker rugbydag saam, was gaaf om julle fokkertjies weet raak te drink! Ons maak weer so,…. Scrumdown in CAO, Tassies en GBS….gooi mielies!!!!
Hahaha
Try Tawera Kerr-Barlow, Chiefs!
An absolute scandal.
Unfortunately the format is too kind to SA Rugby.
O jammer cheers eers Lion4ever, jy ook!
@ Lion4ever:
Don’t be sorry.
I had already predicted a loss.
what I hadn’t predicted was a thrashing.
We should all be very worried.
Our teams(Lions aside) are super kak. emphasis on SUPER.
Our rugby has dropped down to below base/acceptable level.
Soon we’ll be challenging Zim and Georgia for bottom-feeders if we’re not careful.
Be worried.
So at the end of the day the Stormers lost by nearly as many points as the Saarks.
Says a lot about our Rugger.
Cheers all. I am off to celebrate.
Thanks for the great banter.
DHL Stormers (14) 21 / 60 (34) Chiefs (Final Score)
Margin of a mighty 39 points!!
So, the semifinalists are 1 SA side and 3 New Zealand sides!!
My Bru picks correct for the weekend as far as the winning sides were concerned, but the margins way, way out!!
Let’s face it, the New Zealand Conference has been the absolute dominant Conference this season… and they deserve 3 sides in the semis.
The Lions shine like a beacon in SA rugby… other than that there is NOTHING from Australia, Japan, Argentina or South Africa.
well that’s that then.
Only the Lions to hold the flag with pride.
And what a side they are. The rest are super kak. All of them.
I’m embarrassed to say that I support SA rugby teams(aside from the Lions of course).
We really have dropped down to levels previously unplumbed.
Certainly beyond my imagination.
cheers boys.
