Oh yeah… there at the beginning of the downhill pass towards Wilderness… near the Victoria Bay turnoff!
Lions 52 / 14 Kings
@ grootblousmile:
also a good player. I like ‘The Warthog’. Wears his heart on his sleeve and only kept out of the starting XV by an even better Malcolm Marx.
63 @ Tassies:
Yip, excellent hooker!
Lions have the best hookers in SA…
3 Minutes to go in the game.
@ grootblousmile:
that’s the one. A little tired but we (handbrake) secured a great online deal so no complaints. Knysna was a tad more comfortable though. But bloody busy.
Try Courtnall Skosan, Lions!!
@ grootblousmile:
I’d have to agree.
Do I score points on Bru for missing by 2 points?
Lions 57 / 14 Kings
@ grootblousmile:
Bugger it Courtnall. Did you have to do that. Probably convert too.
Hooter goes…
Kings penalty, deliberate knock out by Mnisi.
Try Schalk Ferreira, Kings!
High scoring weekend so far.
The top teams are forging ahead of the bottom-feeders it seems. Squad depth is starting to count now.
With the exception of the Blues that is. They are not a top team this year but nailed the Brumbies. I had the Blues to win by 3. Took a chance.
Very poor defence by both teams. Massively high scoring game.

So, that was Friday rugby…
Tomorrow is a bumper day full of rugby, starting at 09:35 with the Crusaders vs Melbourne Rebels… and ending well after midnight!
What’s happening at the Bulls GB? Losing to the Argies is unforgivable even if it was an away fixture.
10 years ago that result would be unthinkable don’t you think?
I mean, even the Kings beat them.
@ grootblousmile:
with the highlight of the day around 2pm. 😀
78 @ Tassies:
Bulls are an anomaly… and a young team in the making…
They will miss out on the play-off’s… but to be fair, they did not have a good season and deserve to miss out!
@ grootblousmile:
De Jager will help you’d think. Next year. You had better hope that he’s not just a big game player. Springboks……. and then nothing. But I doubt he’d want to lose form again like he did this season.
@ grootblousmile:
when the Bulls miss-fire then so do the Boks historically. So, by association, we don’t really enjoy that.
think I need to grab some shuteye guys. Head feels like I’ve just tackled Bakkies in full flight with only the line to beat.
cheers oaks
