    The boks keep breaking records

  • 123

The sad thing is that it’s hard to see how we could have selected a better team?

  • 124

    120 @ McLook:
Frans Malherbe was freegin soooo kak today…

But the whole Bokke side was error-prone, disjointed and ill-prepared!

  • 125

I think that for the first time ever I agree with Skinstad….

    SA played STUPID rugby.

    Another 4 years of mediocrity?

  • 126

To NH wins in the SH this weekend. What must we read into that?

  • 127

    126 @ McLook:
That the Wobblies and Springboks are crap at present!

A few players might have been better but it wouldn’t have made a difference

It’s not the team it’s the way we play

Our backline looked slow and planless

We still keep giving good fast ball to forwards

DeAllende has not set the world alight since injury and cannot / will not pass.

Malherbe has been shit all season imo.

De Jager has been ok but not brilliant for the Cheetahs.

If we were unable to pick a better team then we are in deep sh1t going forward.

The Supersport “experts” are pulling the team to bits.

    Toetie for President!

Yip, we lost the battle at the breakdown, the tactical kicking game and our attack was lethargic and one dimensional in comparison.

Remember the Argentina / Italy test at 20:45 SA Time…

In the meantime the Junior Bokke are busy playing Argentina U20… it’s on TV at SS6.

    Hello GBS

No England is a good side with a very good and smart coach

The Wallabies would have easily beaten the Irish and destroyed us

  • 133

Is this a 3 match series? We’re in danger of losing a series against Ireland at home, if that’s the case.

  • 134

The Springboks have seemed to hit rock bottom… and then decided to dig some more… fok!

  • 135

Sad really this was an Ireland team shorn of some it’s best players

  • 137

well there is too much history currently being made for my liking.
I’m not really sure where this is all heading but I can say that I don’t like the trends.
If I were to make an honest assessment of our situation, I’d say that out collective national mindset is so negative that it manifests in every part of our lives and that includes our beloved national sports. It’s called confidence. This Test match was a prime example. Talent in spades. Confidence nowhere. We have little belief in ourselves. 15 plays 14 and we lose. I mean……..give me a break.
Someone please tell me I’m wrong and give me a valid reason to believe your argument and look forward to our future. I back myself as a visionary but I’m just not seeing sunshine down that tunnel of vision right now.

Maybe we need two reds and a yellow to win like the Kings? 😃

on paper, this was the best team we could have put on the park. On the park this effort was best confined to the toilet. A team it was not. It was an insult to the proud Springbok heritage.
Do I blame Alastair? No. Not exactly. Its a collective responsibility. Albeit that he’s in the direct line of fire.

  • 140

    139 @ Tassies:
We can aportion blame as much as we want… but it will take the collective will of Toetie, all the individual Springboks AND SARU to fix this crap we are witnessing!

Any news on how Lambie is doing? Really hope he is ok looked like he could be out for a while. Got the pictures on the TV but eventually the audio was drowned out by the football commentary which was showing on the other screens in the place we found.

  • 142

Disappointed in that but even more annoyed. Many other a day would have complained about a number of bad decisions that went in the victors favour but having got the benefit of doubt with CJ sending off and playing so much of the game with the numerical advantage think the Boks just didn’t deserve to win regardless so won’t dwell on the specific howlers .

CJ Stander cops a RED CARD

I think it is harsh on CJ Stander!

Interesting to read your thoughts that were in real time Gbs. When I saw Lambie got down cold didn’t see at first what it was but thought it must have been some foul play then with the replays thought it was just bad luck on the timing of the clash. Will be interesting to see what disciplinary hearing decides. In fact thought the one that got the card for the clothes line tackle on Jantjies was far more malicious just the end result with the injury was far worse for Lambie.

    Morne Steyn
    has been called back
    due to Lambie injury

so it is said here in France

The Stormers fans are very quiet about it?

If it was HM who brought Morne back the Cape lynch mob would have been baying for his blood

    Tour Match.

Chiefs Thrash Wales 40 – 7 in Hamilton this evening.

This is Wales heaviest defeat ever in a Tour Match.

Let’s be honest, it just reinforces that Toetie has vark all intention of moving away from the domkrag Rugby style that SA has been playing for the last 10 years.

Play to the game plan. Don’t think on the field. Don’t play what’s in front of you.

Phhhffff. SA Rugby going backwards for another 4 years.
