Gooooooooo Bokke!
Series to go to a decider next week.
Boks will be better after more time together. They will have to be.
This week they will need to play a Team of 15.
Backs to the Wall.
Boks by 9.
@ cane:
trying to pick a Springbok result against any team is a lottery these days. By way of example, I even picked them to beat Japan.
I’m watching the highlights of last weeks game. It’s even worse than I remember. If we think England’s defence was good this morning then I’m busy watching the converse of that. Talk about a sive on defence and even dumber decision-making. Pathetic.
OK, Anthems done and dusted!
Game ON!
Kick-Off by Ireland!
Early Ireland mistake, Bokke scrum on about the middle spot, after a knock by Toner.
Bokke scrum penalty… but Frans Malherbe was kakking big time on the tighthead… shot at goal.
Springboks 3 / 0 Ireland
Good Bokke counter-ruck… and Pieter-Steph gets the ball… Bokke penalty, loitering offside.
Duane Vermeulen getting strapped up on the upper arm, bicep or something.
better start than last week. But playing like this for 80 is what wins games.
Good enough touch kick, out on the Ireland 22.
Ireland rip the ball from Kolisi
Quinn Roux steals the Bokke lineout ball
my goodness but Ellis Park’s stands have a lot of gaps where bums should be. Is this a reflection of Springbok performances or the economy?
Bad kick by Willie le Roux… eish
Ireland kickable penalty against Flo Louw… shot it is.
Springboks 3 / 3 Ireland
@ grootblousmile: mistakes starting to creep in already. Willie is playing on borrowed time. Best he up his game or he’s going to be seeking new employment.
Ireland penalty, near the Ireland 22… not releasing in the tackle
great up-and-under by Jantjies but stuffed up by the support.
Ciao a tutti!
20 @ Tassies:
Yip, he and De Allende particularly have been poor…
Ireland just starting to dominate proceedings, living off Bok mistakes.
Ireland penalty again… and with the way Paddy Jackson is kicking, it should go over…. in front, on about the 10m line.
Springboks 3 / 6 Ireland
its amazing. They are so off form and can do little right.
23 @ The_Young_Turk:
Hello Gobbles!
So far it looks like the Boks will put in a slightly better performance this week ie losing against 15 men rather than the 14 of last week.
